I believe that CrossFit, as a holistic approach to health and fitness, is for everyone; I believed it when I was overhead squatting just a broomstick and getting mocking looks in the gym, not too long ago, and I believe it now that I am a devoted trainer and get the amazing opportunity to show people what CrossFit is all about!
Never before have I discovered such inspiration, emotional stability, physical strength, and fitness until I devoted myself to CrossFit. It has given me direction and motivation and keeps me constantly pushing for the next level. (It has also helped me lose and keep off almost sixty-five pounds of weight!)
Our bodies are our vehicles for life, but too often we prioritize distractions, like work or recreation, over it. We don’t maintain it the way we should, and when things seems too late, we turn to the myriad of misinformation, myths and “cures” out there for the quick-fix. Devotion to CrossFit is not a “quick-fix” but it is truly my prescription for life; not only my health goals but supreme wellness that transcends into my spiritual, emotional, professional and social realms.
